Memory Care Community is an area where those residents with Alzheimer’s and related memory disorders are provided with a safe, secure, and supportive environment 24 hours per day. While we realize there are no miracle cures, we believe that a person with Alzheimer’s requires understanding, security and a sense of dignity. By reinforcing the unique skills and abilities that people with Alzheimer’s have retained rather than dwelling on their losses, our Memory Care Community provides an enriched quality of life for residents as well as much needed support for families. The basic services and amenities provided at The Colonnade Senior Living Communities are outlined below. State specific regulations and requirements may supersede certain services and amenities in some cases.
MEMORY CARE SERVICES:
• Customized Levels of Wellness & Care
• Dedicated Memory Care Program Director
• 24-hour supervision by specially trained staff
• Incontinence care
• A variety of life enrichment programs, 7 days a week
• Assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing & grooming
• Monthly wellness checks
• Assistance with medications
• 3 meals served daily with snacks throughout the day
• Housekeeping and laundry services
• Support groups, educational programs, & referral services
